At the 6th plenary meeting of the High-Level Group for the DMA on 20 March 2026, Vicky Robertson was invited as an academic expert to contribute to a discussion on the future of digital regulation in the European Union. In her talk, she discussed her research on coherence in EU platform regulation (with Klaudia Majcher, see here), the external benchmark approach (with Ariel Ezrachi, see here) and on the complementarity of EU competition law and the DMA (see here). The Hub’s former visiting research fellow Belle Beems and Orla Lynskey also spoke about issues affecting the future of digital regulation, including institutional coherence and the collapse of boundaries between legal fields.
